GameplayA very unusual strategy for Spectrum — this rare genre is well represented here. The goal: build a settlement on an icy island and keep it from freezing. Surprisingly cozy, with story and nice graphics. Interface is simple and clear, without confusion. Didn’t expect to be so hooked by this genre!

GraphicsSibCity has a nice, clear interface, with good drawing and recognizability of map objects. Colors are used sparingly — fitting for a winter setting. Object size (16x16 px) leaves room for decoration. Doesn’t get boring.

SoundSound is not Frostland’s strength. No music (though it would help the atmosphere), and menu sounds are too sharp. Still, enjoyable overall.

GameplayAnother strategy game. I think these need a more detailed set of instructions & I find them difficult to work out what you need to do in order to progress. There's some in game instructions but, for me, it's not enough. Didn't really hold my interest. Rem
