GameplayA crazy mix of R-Type, Jet-Pac and who knows what else. Not the easiest game, but it plays in one breath. Key is to ride the walker you just shot, not obvious at first. These authors excel at shooters, and Asymmetry joins Valley of Rains, Metal Man, Seraphima in the lineup.

GraphicsLuxurious title screen and equally beautiful in-game graphics. Perhaps overall less impressive than Valley of Rains, but technically excellent. Smooth pixel scrolling and cell-by-cell movement of heroine and enemies as in R-Type! With many dynamic objects, Savage looks archaic by comparison.

SoundExcellent mix of beeper and AY music. Each level has its own track. Dynamic, fitting the game. Even decent digitized speech, rare on Spectrum.

GameplayThis is a bit hard for me. But after some perseverance I managed to get off the 1st level. It didn't help that when you die you don't carry on where you died but get put back to start of level. I always find that annoying. Game is very nice, but this would have done really well if it was a little easier.

GraphicsGreat loading screen, use of colour is amazing. Lovely intro sequence (but you should be able to skip it once you've seen it). Main graphics are really good.
GameplayGreat playbility, perhaps a little bit too linear and levels a little bit too short

GraphicsWonderful use of colours, very detailed and brilliant loading screen
10
SoundGreat use of the music chips, the music is great, perhaps just too similar to some of old Zosya games. But it fits very well in the gameplay, even being repetitive.

SoundSuitable & catchy 128k tune & sound effects. 48K sound is sufficient.
